Joe Minutillo: a seasoned director, has been an integral part of Gateway Playhouse since 1993, collaborating closely with Robin Joy Allan, the esteemed Artistic Director and Casting Agent. Joe's directorial journey at Gateway has been marked by a rich tapestry of productions, including beloved classics like Matilda, Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid for both the main stage and children's programs. His creative vision has extended beyond Gateway to venues such as June Havoc Theatre, The 45th Street Theatre in NYC, Bay Street Theatre, and Guild Hall, where he has brought to life impactful productions like Diary of A Young Girl (Anne Frank), To Kill A Mockingbird, and The Great Gatsby. Joe's commitment to the arts goes beyond directing as he actively participates in Leadership Masters, contributing to productions like Churchill Chronicles and Disaster & Destiny. Additionally, Joe's dedication to education is evident through his involvement with NYSTEA (New York State Theatrical Education Association) and his receipt of the prestigious "Rod Marriot Award" for Theatre Education in New York. He continues to inspire young talent through workshops and directing for the Young American Writers Project at Stony Brook University alongside Emma Walton, a multitalented writer, actor, director, and creator, fostering the next generation of theatrical storytellers.
